Aims from a focus group:

From a focus group, I want to achieve the audiences knowledge and expectations of the Indie Rock genre.
To do this, these are some of the examples of the questions I could ask-
  • What would you usually expect to see in an Indie Rock music video?
  • Can you discuss what you think makes a music video an Indie Rock music video?
  • What is your preferred/ favourite Indie Rock band/ artist? Why?
  • Do you prefer when an Indie Rock music video has a storyline or a performance? Why?
  • Would you prefer to see a lot of close- ups of the band/ artist in an Indie Rock music video?
